Director's Note
"Chirp" is a sound in nature. It is the primitive energy at the bottom of life. However, the development of human civilization often limits the existence of such an energy by emphasizing human being. Like a bird painted on a wall or a cardboard box, people do not hesitate to reinterpret nature and demonstrate your own value.
The two girls in the film have thoughts of "killing" and "love" respectively. These are the two means by which nature adjusts the distribution of resources. However, in Asian civilizations, they are invariably hidden in the quiet world because they are too straightforward. At the same time, just like the bird painted on the paper flies away, the most fundamental need of human existence is actually freedom. Although it is not in favor of the order established by the minority class, it is still the most fundamental need of human existence.
Through this film, I hope to express the undercurrent under civilization, which is the confrontation between animality and spirituality coming from the depths of nature.

Song Wenting
Song Wenting is an emerging Chinese female director who challenges conventional storytelling methods. Her distinctive approach treats the human form as a mystical presence within nature, often employing abstract physical performances and corporeal language rather than traditional narrative techniques. Her work explores the body as a vessel for storytelling, eschewing material props in favor of pure movement and gesture.
