Synopsis

A group of young people born in or after 1995 from Hangzhou set out on a quest for a cherished item they lost in their childhood, a journey that unexpectedly changed their lives in the process.

Director’s Statement

Starting from the confusion and obsessions unique to our generation of post-‘95s only children, and using the search for what has been lost as a thread, the work reveals the contradiction between contemporary youth’s aspirations for the future and their nostalgic attachment to beautiful memories.
