Synopsis

Orlo didn't believe anything, but she met a strange young man in a Chinese cram school and fell in love. When she gave her trust to him, things took a turn.

Director's Note

In Lhasa, Tibet, there are many sweet tea houses of all sizes because people like to drink sweet tea and eat Tibetan noodles. Most of the main force of these sweet tea houses are women aged 20-30. Most of them come from rural areas in Tibet. They did not continue to go to school after high school and worked in sweet tea houses. There are 5-6 such girls in each sweet tea house. I saw a girl in the alley near my home. She was a little different from other girls in sweet tea houses. She wore a hat backwards and rode a bicycle through the alley. Based on this character image, I created this story.

Kangdrun

Tibetan, A native of Lhasa, Tibet. She is the screenwriter and director of the film "Linka,Linka" , which won the Hualin Film Special Attention Award at Shanghai IFF, the Longyue Central European International Vision Award at the FIRST Youth Film Festival. Hershort film "Short summer in Lhasa" won the first honor of the annual new feature short film of Chinese Youth Film Award, Beijing Film Academy ISFVF Outstanding Work Award, Hangzhou Youth Film Project Jury Award, and shortlisted for 86358, Hishorts Xiamen Short Film Week, Cross-Strait Golden Rooster Short Film Season and other short film festivals. She also participated in the scriptwriting of the Mango TV TV series "City of Sunshine", which broadcasted on the entire network in October 2024 and has received favorable reviews.
