Director’s Note

In this story, the relationship between the real world and the new world is like the relationship between the world of youth and adulthood. There is no better or worse, it has nothing to do with age. So, in the end, the protagonist of this story seems not to have grown, but it is quite common to go through many experiences without growing. Except for the protagonist, everyone else in the movie has an ending. As a science fiction film, the visual presentation of this movie is similar to reality, yet not truly real. On this basis, I tried to go a step further by challenging the medium of the film in relation to the theme: the frame within the movie continuously shrinks as the story progresses, but the male protagonist is not confined by the frame and drifts outside the world.
